Sparadici is situated not far from Grebastica in the direction of Primosten, immediately under the Adriatic tourist road. The place spreads 1km alongside the sea, at the foot of the Jelinjak hill.
It was named after the Sparada family that has been living here for almost four centuries. The inhabitants used to deal with agriculture, cattle breeding and fishing but today their main occupation is tourism.
A centennial, thick pine forest at one side of the Adriatic tourist road and the crystal clear sea on the other have always attracted passers by. A little holiday resort during the high season accomodates 500 guests in comfortable apartments, villas and camp sites.
In front of the houses there are sandy, pebbly or concrete beaches but in Sparadici there are also beautiful natural rocky beaches known mainly to the bathers from Sibenik who come here each year because the most valuable asset of Sparadici is crystal clear sea.
There is a diving school in Sparadici for those who like to explore the underwater world while other kind of entertainment like sport or gastronomic events are offered in nearby Primosten. No hustle and bustle of busy summer resorts will suit all those who prefer to spend their holidays in peace as here, in Sparadici.
